The Missoula Writing Collaborative will be featured in 3 events at this years Montana Book Festival. Several of our writers will also be reading their own work.
On Thursday, September 27th, students will be reading their poems from our Words With Wings summer camp at Fact and Fiction Books at 5:30
On Saturday, September 29th, Executive Director Caroline Patterson and Program Director Nick Littman will be discussing and providing a demo of the interactive Missoula Children’s Poetry Map. This event will be held at Missoula Public Library at 11 a.m.
Also on Saturday, the Missoula Writing Collaborative is being honored with a prize from the Montana Center for the Book. We will be accepting the prize and having several students read for this event at Downtown Dance Collective.
Finally, two of our writers will be sharing their work. Robert Lee will be part of a reading from 2:00-3:45 on Saturday, and Mark Gibbons will read at 11:30 on Thursday.
