For the very first time, the Missoula Writing Collaborative is offering one week teen summer workshops. There are three workshops currently running: Poetry, Fiction and Songwriting. Earlier this week, the Missoulian Newspaper ran an article about Caroline Keys and the Songwriting workshop.
For many years, the Missoula Writing Collaborative has run a popular Words With Wings Summer camp for 8-14 year olds, and that camp is continuing. But we’ve realized that many of our camp participants want to keep coming as they grow older. Over the years, we’ve had numerous former campers return to help lead the camp, but until now, there have not been opportunities for them to return as participants. So, this year, we have added the three specialized workshops to our summer offerings to cater to high school aged students.
