Dana Fitz Gale

Dana Fitz Gale lives in the Bitterroot Valley with her husband, two sons, and assorted dogs, cats, and horses. Her debut collection of short stories, Spells for Victory and Courage (Brighthorse Books, 2016) won the Brighthorse Prize and was also a finalist for the Flannery O’Connor Award and the Ohio State book prize. She has won numerous other awards, most recently The Saturday Evening Post’s 2022 “Great American Fiction Award”.
